The BVT Academy started in 2018 with the aim of bringing in front of the young people  from Timisoara personalities from various backgrounds. The aim of the program is to INSPIRE, MOTIVATE and EDUCATE.

BVT Academy is an educational initiative that builds on our past work with young people. It aims to help them develop a set of essential skills for their future professional life, such as: self-esteem, leadership, career guidance, civic engagement, etc. To address these themes, the Academy brings together young participants with international careers to share their experience and expertise.

The format of the BVT Academy has been designed as physical meetings held in October. In 2024, the BVT Academy will run from March to October (excluding the holiday months of July and August).

The workshops will take place at the Hațegan Foundation headquarters throughout the year, with a frequency of one session/month, on the following development areas:

  • Physical development: addresses the complexity of the human body, promotes correct principles of movement, nutrition, stress management, so useful for a healthy lifestyle.
  • Emotional development: to shape a stable and harmonious inner construction, which shapes (impacts) the way we relate to ourselves and others.
  • Intellectual development: the BVT Academy recognizes the value of the educational component in the process of becoming an intelligent adult, and aims to impart scientific and humanistic information valuable to today's society.
  • Professional/career development: provides the new generation with practical experience and acquaintance with the labour market, supporting them on their way to professionalism and a fulfilling career with a broad, international perspective.
  • Social and community development: promotes empathy and pro-active social behaviour, community involvement through volunteering, charity, caring for others and the environment.
  • Cultural development: aims to build a relationship between young people and the world of arts by encouraging their artistic potential.

More details on workshop topics and mentors will be available on the social media pages of Balul Vienez Timișoara and Hațegan Foundation.

In past editions, the mentors of the academy were:
